Foreign university/graduate school students can stay in Japan after graduation if their income is 3 million yen or more

The Ministry of Justice is to establish a new system to encourage foreign students continue staying in Japan after finishing the school. Those who graduate from a Japanese university or graduate school can stay in Japan with no limitation on their occupation as long as they earn 3 million yen or more and belong to a workplace using the Japanese language.

Wondering if this new policy enables foreign students work in Izakaya, mobile phone shops or convenience stores??
