Covit test certificate and MOFA form to enter Japan

For those who enter Japan, please be well-prepared with appropriate Covit test certificate.

 

According to TV news (NHK), some people (including Japanese citizens) arrived Japan from abroad got deported because of wrong test method or inappropriate testing time.

The PCR test has to be taken 72 hours or later before the departure time of your flight to Japan.

According to those recently traveled to Japan, the test result shows a description of “Negative” (“Not Detected” not accepted), sampling/testing time (in Japan time), test method, etc.
